Ladies in Pants
Occasionally the women wearing pants were male impersonators and/or lesbians. Around the turn of the last century it became very fashionable for lesbians to wear a monocle. I wish I had more photos of that...

I've always been fascinated by women who wore pants before the 1950s. In most cases it was not an every day occurrence, but pants have been donned by the fairer sex for sports, work, and leisure for centuries.
